Most people don’t really think of the sleepy little town of Port Townsend Washington as being a viable or enjoyable vacation destination. I’m here to disagree. This town has everything you could ask for and more and makes an excellent weekend getaway for anyone enduring the nine to five grind. The resort offers cabins as well as accommodations at the lodge itself and even has a general store, gift shop, and restaurant with amazing views from the dining area. I was lucky enough to stay there recently and am excited to share this destination with those of you interested in a weekend getaway in Washington State.

Vacations are not only relaxing for the individuals involved, but they should also be relaxing for your pocketbook and budget. Duty free stores are a great way to squeeze every last drop out of the cash you’ve saved to take that trip overseas.
